swz.weebly.com February 2007 Winter seminar, Tianjin China. During February 2007 we participated in a Martial arts seminar, held in Tianjin China under the instruction of Master Zhou jingxuan. Each of us concentrated on a different subject The applications and usage of Piguazhang, basics of Bajiquan and Jingangbashi. Together we learned the second Miao Dao form it’s applications and usage. In this clip you can see parts of the seminar, pictures from our meeting and practice with Piguzhang Grand Master Pang zhiqi, pictures from our trip to the great wall and even some fooling around The background song is Paper wings by Rise against. Yeah there were only three of us, since sifu teaches only small groups of up to 4. since it was our lesson we took the videos ourselves. He’s a really good teacher and really talented. it’s lots of fun learning from him!

I say with historical factors.
As you know, in 5000 years ago,has 3 famous tribe in yellow river and yangzi river,they are Jiu Li of Si You,Chinese of Huangdi and Bai Yue of Shennong.
China is modern term,in past China is middle kingdom in yellow river.
If you say Chinese with nationality as now,I can say Chinese has 56 ethnics with Han chinese is majority.
Clearly, in past Yue is not Chinese with ethnic,culture,teritory,…

@BAIYUE1 Chinese have always been made up of multiple ethnical groups, not just Han, in fact Hans are not really 1 ethnic group, they are just called that because of Han dynasty and the name stuck. you are saying only Hans are CHinese, the other ethnic groups are not chinese, that makes no sense. The Yue people also originated from southern china did they not.

Yes,Nguyen An can’t design details of forbidden,but main structure of forbidden city beijing was designed by Nguyen An.And the most important is Nguyen An train for chinese wokers to built it.

Don’t mention Caixin with me.Cai xin and two other architect is subordinate of Nguyen An.Nguyen An is chief architect of forbidden city beijing.Ming emperor give that responsible for Nguyen An.
Not only Forbidden city,Nguyen An is also help Ming dynasty in yellow river.

@BAIYUE1 He was an eunuch that worked for the Dynasty and he worked on the construction but he was only one and the rest were Chinese, the structure is fundamentally Chinese, nothing to suggest Vietnamese architecture at all, he was just a person that worked for the Dynasty and did what he was told to do and there is nothing shameful or wrong about it, the facts are the facts. @BAIYUE1 The Forbidden City’s plan was designed by many architects and designers, and then it was examined by the Emperor’s Ministry of Work.[4] The Chief Architects were Cai Xin[4][5] and eunuch Nguyen An, a Vietnamese,[6] and the Chief Engineers were Kuai Xiang and Lu Xiang.[4]

I’m sure there are many things i don’t know about Vietnam but because people like you who have nothing better to do than taking credits of other country’s work. @BAIYUE1 So now you admit Forbidden City wasn’t designed by one man. You pretty much couldn’t stand your original argument.

Why was he the head of forbidden city? It’s because the emperors generally trusted the eunuchs more than the others. So he was put in the administration position not because he was a better architect than the others.

Vietnam never had it’s independent architecture style for anything. It’s always the combination of Chinese and Vietnamese and now French.

I will tell you that Nguyen An is general architect,head of forbidden beijing.
Under the reign of Zhengtong Emperor, Nguyen An had a major role in the reconstruction of the wall of Beijing.[2][5] He was also a hydraulic specialist, who was involved in at least three hydraulic projects and had a flawless record.[6] He died in 1453.[2]
“4 tower in the 4 corners of the city and the hydraulic system”is only a part of his responsible.

@BAIYUE1 Again, some simple facts about forbidden city. It was primarily designed by SIX architects and Nguyen An was one of them. He was responsible for the 4 tower in the 4 corners of the city and the hydraulic system.

Japan, Korea all took Chinese architect for their own and it’s nothing special for them to invent new thing based on that. They give full/proper credit to Chinese architecture’s influence. Only in Vietnam and arrogant fools like you who takes all the credit for yourself.

The emperor wouldn’t use or entrust a freshly captured vietnamese to build his palace for him, no one would, and stop lying about this age. 25 years is considered old back then and no imperial court would take a 25 year old and trust him to serve the emperor, they only start with young boys. Nguyen An was captured and paid as tribute to China when he was an uneducated boy.

Even more ridiculous is ur cannon claim. Get an education before spreading lies.

In Ming dynasty,great Yue was conquered in 10 years,It is time,Nguyen an,Ho Nguyen Trung with many Vietnamese talent was catched to China.
And Nguyen An was architect in Vietnam(Tran,Ho dynasty).When He was catched to China,he 25 years old.when he designed forbidden city ,he was 30 years old.
Ho Nguyen Trung created cannon.He is son of Ho Quy Ly who is king of Ho dynasty.
So we are Yue people.It is enough to make us proud.Same on you,you don’t have origin.
